I think Ukrainian folk songs are better than Russian ones. Russian ones are all about sacrifice for your country, as if people are nothing more but cannon fodder to be sacrificed for the country. Ukrainian ones are instead more about personal experience and feelings. They have fighting themes in them as well, but this fight is about a country where one can live freely, not a country to worship like an idol.

There is also a modern song about current Ukrainian war with Russia, that mocks rather than demonizes Russian soldiers and their government.
It is called Bayraktar and has a line about making Russian soldiers eat soup with a shoe.
