Baccano Review

I recommend watching.

This is rather fun and interesting show, that can probably be liked both by men and women.

It has everything you want form an entertainment: A diverse cast of interesting characters. Interesting story with lost of clever plot twits. Battles, atmosphere, feel, even awesome opening.

Characters are many. Some are more insane than the other. However they are well written. Each has their own objectives which their pursue in rather logical and cohesive way.

Clash of these characters and their objectives creates a interesting an engaging story by itself.

Events themselves themselves range from brutal battles with lots of gore and suffering to silly dances and conversation about why mining is like stealing from the earth(-chan) itself, so it is as good as robbing banks. Show seamlessly switches between its two contrasting modes.

Yet there is more to the story than just that. To not spoil anything I just say, that later developments would explain and put many of the events in an entirely new light. It would be a flashback but a one that totally worth your time.

Show has distinctive gilded 20s and prohibition 30s feel with its fanciness and Jazz. Those people who recommend Cowboy Bebop should recommend this instead.

To top it all it is rather different form other anime out there.

In short I can recommend it to pretty much anyone.
