Puella Magi Madoka Magica Review

Overall Rating 8.0/10 - Very good story about caring girls who suffer a lot but endure.

I recommend watching.

This one is rather unusual representative of the magical girl genre. It is even better than what you could reasonably expect from mixing Urobutcher with magical girls.

"Did you really feel nothing while watching over these girls this whole time? Didn't you at least tried to understand how much they were sufferings?" This is a quote from the show that tells you exactly what to expect.

Because this is Urobutcher's anime, magical girls here suffer a lot. If you are not into suffering girls, you should probably skip this one.

All this sufferings makes them all all very likable and sexy, waifu material. If you want to have likable girls leave it to Urobutcher.

Despite all odds and all soffreing these girls struggle and struggle to save people and each other from cruel twists of fate. All of this is very pleasant to watch,

It has a nice plot with interesting twists in many unusual places. It is very unpredictable if you like this kind of thing.

To to it up is has a unique and rather ingenious art style. Unlike Tatami Galaxy for example, Madoka Magica mixes its unique styles win conventional. The whole thing looks very attractive and aesthetically pleasing. In fact they even invented their own alphabet for this show.

It is also very deep and intellectual. Not as 7 dimensional chess as Umineko or 3 dimensional chess of Kaiji, but deep enough.

To top it all up, it is masterfully crafted and almost flawless. Fate/Zero Urobutcher level of quality.

All in all I recommend this to almost everyone.
