El Cazador de la Bruja Review

Overall rating: 7.0/10 - Good

I recommend watching.

Now this is a very nice cozy show, with a warm 2000s feel to it. Perfect to remind you of the better times that a unfortunately behind us in this detestable austerity era.

Here we have a very likable autism-hero Ellis, paring up with rather likable gun touting bounty hunter Nadie. Together they travel Mexico and participate in various events along the way.

Show is mostly episodic, however it has an underlying plot that connects everything together. It is is a conspiracy. Both Blue Eyes and LA trying to capture Ellis on behalf of Douglas Rosenberg. Details are revealed as show progresses. In fact Nadie was hired to do that as well, but decided to switch sides.

Ellis has hidden powers that many want, so Nadie has to fight them to protect Ellis. Well LA just want her sexually, but has to fight Nadie all the same.

There are many characters that only present in a single or several episodes and then gone. Each of them has their own stories, some are very interesting.

Animation is old but well drawn, it has great vision of what they attempted to achieve with tools they had at their disposal back then.

Music is done Yuki Kajiura. It fits the show very well and enhances overall experience.

Overall I can recommend it to everyone.
